ABOUT MYSELF
			I discovered Reiki 1998 virtually on the other side of the world – in Kathmandu, Nepal.
			At that time, I felt that my personal development had come to a standstill. So I packed my backpack and travelled to Nepal on my own. A good friend had told me about a Tibetan-Buddhist monastery, where I wanted to spend some time.
			There, the peaceful atmosphere, the people and my meditation course left me strenghtened and happy. Wandering through Kathmandu, I wished to find a possibility of feeling this strong energy any time I wanted.
			Suddenly I noticed a sign saying "Reiki couse begins tomorrow". The Belgian Reiki teacher told me what Reiki was and I immediately booked the course with her.
			Since then Reiki has been part of my life. I found out that I am responsible for my wellbeing and for the course of my life. I experienced how powerful my thoughts and wishes are and how they influence my life. And I learned to see my problems as ways to learn, and to deal with them in a productive way.
			I have been practicing Reiki for eight years now, and it continues to enrich my life and my personal development.
			2001 I became a Reiki Master, and since 2006 I am a Reiki teacher. I am happy to share my experience with others.
			Since September 2009 my life has become enriched by a little buddha named Jonah.
